Since 1968, New York Magazine has been a bi-weekly destination for life, culture, politics, and crossword puzzles. In the magazine's first year, famed composer Stephen Sondheim contributed a new puzzle each month and, in the years since, New York has been home to some of the best puzzle designers in the world.
Blackwing teamed up with New York Magazine to design a special crossword puzzle pencil for solving their trickiest word games. Each set includes the full puzzle in the box, and each pencil features a slice of the puzzle printed on its barrel. As you solve the puzzle on paper, you can fill in the squares on your pencil to “finish” the pencil’s design.
