Return Policies:
If you are not completely thrilled with your purchase, Penny Post will help. You may return or exchange per the guidelines below.

Can I return my item?
We will gladly accept returns of unused, undamaged merchandise within 14 days of the original purchase date. Returns with an original receipt will be credited in the original form of payment for the price paid. Returns with no receipt will receive a store credit for the current value. All custom, personalized, or special orders, food items, and sale items are final sale.
Fountain pens and pen-related accessories: Please return/exchange your pen or related accessories within 14 days. If you would like to test your fountain pen, please dip the nib only rather than fully inking the pen or inserting a cartridge. Once a pen has been fully inked or a cartridge inserted we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee, since the item will then be considered used merchandise.
Return shipping is at the expense of the customer.
To initiate a return, contact us at hellothere@shoppennypost.com or 703-888-1515 with your request and the details surrounding the return. We’ll then send you instructions on how to return your item(s). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Can I exchange my items?
At this time we do not make exchanges except in cases of damaged or defective product.
Can I return Holiday-specific items?
Holiday-specific items purchased online and shipped, such as Christmas ornaments or Snowmen pillows, must be returned with a postmark no later than December 20 to receive full refund. In-store and pick up holiday-specific purchases can be returned for full price up until December 24. Holiday-specific items returned after the holiday will be returned at the current retail price.
Can I return non-holiday specific items after the holidays?
Eligible items purchased between November 15 and December 25 may be returned by January 8 of the following year.
Can I return a non-holiday gift in December?
Receive a gift that’s not quite you? Contact us at hellothere@shoppennypost.com to initiate a return. The original gift-giver will not be made aware unless they hear it from you. You can then package up your return and mail it back to us. Gift returns will receive an online gift card. If returned without a receipt or invoice, the online gift card will be given at the current selling price.
What do I do if my package is lost or stolen?
Penny Post is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. To report a missing package or file a claim, please contact the proper mail carrier - UPS or USPS.
What do I do if I receive incorrect items?
We strive for 100% satisfaction upon opening our packages, however damages and mistakes can sometimes occur. Please contact us at customerservice@redbarnmercantile.com immediately and we will correct the problem as quickly as possible.
What do I do if I receive damaged items?
If your order arrives damaged, let us know right away and we’ll make it right! Contact us at hellothere@shoppennypost.com and include a few photos of the damage so we can help you right away. We cannot accept damaged items once the two week return window has passed.
Please note we’re not able to accept returns for items damaged through use or normal wear and tear.
Damaged items with warranties should be sent to the manufacturer.
How long will it take to get my refund?
Refunds can take up to 12 business days from our receipt of your returned item(s). You will receive a notification once your refund has been processed.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact us at hellothere@shoppennypost.com.
