Penny Post is hiring a Store Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced people leader to drive a steadily growing business in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria. The Store Manager must have experience driving retail sales, leading a team of people, and collaborating with a diverse group of leaders. The position is on-site and 40 hours per week and reports to the Owner/President of Stone Soup Holding Co., LLC. Experience in and/or passion for stationery is a plus.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in retail management
3+ years of experience in retail sales
Experience motivating and developing people
Key Job Responsibilities:
Store operations including: opening and closing, writing a staff schedule, delivering great customer service, etc.
Employee life cycle: Hire, Onboard, Train, Exit
Merchandising
Drive the customer experience
