Our Good. Works. Wednesday efforts are going to UpCycle this month. 20% of your non-custom purchases made on Wednesdays in April are being donated to this wonderful organization.

UpCycle Creative Reuse Center is a nonprofit in Alexandria, VA that connects creativity and conservation by providing a resource center for reuse materials and a creative making space for the community. At UpCycle, they rethink the traditional notion of waste by collecting cast-offs from our community to serve as creative materials.

Need some poster board for a school project? Looking for fabric remnants? Want some inspiration for a new project? Their inventory is always changing so there are new treasures every day. Have a look at some of the things they sell.

Get Creative
UpCycle's programs foster creative expression, resourcefulness, experiential learning, individuality and fun for all ages. Whether through playful “tinkering” or a special workshop, they inspire you to create through exploratory experiences with reuse materials.

At the Materials Center, they offer workshops for youth and adults as well as an extensive Summer Camp for ages 3 ½ to 10. They also provide programs in local schools and recreation centers. Learn about Summer Camp or sign up for an adult workshop.
