Hobonichi 2027 Techo A6 Moomin: My Yard Cover
Moomin was created in 1945 by Tove Jansson, Finland’s beloved author, painter, and artist. This cover’s design features scenes from the novel Moominpappa at Sea, in which the Moomin family goes to live on an island. Seeking solace in their new life there, Moominmamma paints a garden on the wall of the lighthouse, where she is depicted asleep, embroidered in navy thread on a pale mint cotton fabric. The embroidery on the back depicts the Moomin family gathered together on the island they have made their home.
